Luke Hunter

I wanted to become an Architect from a young age and directed all my academic studies towards this target. Following gaining First Class or Distinction grades for all of RIBA Parts 1-3, I have gained experience working in small, medium and large international architectural practices on an array of project types at all work stages in both the private and public sectors. As a result I have a breadth of architectural knowledge to offer Clients. I decided to join JDA in 2015 to work in an enthusiastic, close knit team on small and medium sized projects, enabling me to develop close working relationships with Clients, Consultants and Contractors.

Favourite Project:

In my time at JDA my favourite project has been the design of the Waterside lodges at Elveden Center Parcs from inception to completion. The design of these bespoke lodges was both challenging and exciting and resulted in the project wining two Structural Timber Awards in 2018.

Away from work:

I am an FA Level 1 qualified football coach and enjoy working with and seeing the development of my youngest son’s football team. This dominates spare time during the football season but in the summer I enjoy playing tennis matches for my local club in the Lincoln Tennis League, and camping / walking in the Peak and Lake Districts. In addition, I am very slowly but surely renovating my 1920s house.
