Tony HardieJoint Managing Director
Having gained a degree in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying I initially worked for multi-disciplinary but predominantly architectural practices. Having started at JDA I was initially supporting the design team but after a couple of years was given the opportunity to progress into a project management role which I fully embraced and have flourished thereafter. JDA has created me the opportunity to develop to a senior Director and now joint owner of the business and I take personal pride in the numerous multi million pound projects we have been involved with and successfully delivered. I have thoroughly enjoyed the more interactive position being a Project Manager provides. Building close relationships with Clients and Contractors is my forte, along with bringing commercial understanding and value.
One of my first projects that I led as a Project Manager was a new cricket centre of excellence for Warsop Sporting Trust, a charitable organisation. The £2.5m new build project involved the creation of new cricket & football pitches along with bowling green, indoor nets, clubhouse and banqueting facilities. The project was a huge success and has seen the club go from strength to strength over the last decade. 2015 saw the club host a first class County Match for NCCC, the first time they had played a home match away from Trent Bridge for many years, and one of their young players that came through the teaching academy at the cricket centre has now broken through to the England Test side.
Away from work
With two young children my life outside work is not really my own. I do however enjoy cooking for the family, walking my rather boisterous dog and attempting to rediscover my tennis form when the weather permits.
